The City of Moab provides retirement benefits through Utah Retirement Systems. The City offers a pension benefit to all full-time, classified employees. Vesting requires a total of four years of service. Service can be cumulative across participating Utah Retirement Systems employers.

Employees hired after July 1, 2011 are eligible for the Tier 2 Retirement Plan.

Employees with qualifying years of service prior to July 1, 2011 are eligible for the Tier 1 Retirement Plan.

Savings Plans are also available through Utah Retirement Systems.

Health/Dental/Vision Insurance

The City provides Health/Dental/Vision Insurance to all qualifying employees. Health insurance is offered through Cigna Insurance.

The City offers a Health Savings Account (HSA) through HSA Bank. The City also offers a contribution match of employee funds. To utilize the match, please complete the HSA Contribution Options & Salary Reduction Arrangement form (PDF).
