Community Trails

There are an abundance of bicycle and walking trails throughout Moab and Grand County. There are paved bicycle trails, unpaved trails, and mountain bike trails. The City has an extensive urban pathway system that includes the Mill Creek Parkway and other trails. Grand County Non-motorized Trails Master Plan

The Grand County Grand County Non-motorized Trails Master Plan was adopted by the City of Moab Grand County in 2011. See the Grand County Non-motorized Trail Master Plan (PDF).

E-BIKE USE ON City Path Systems

On June 8, 2021, the Moab City Council passed Ordinance No. 2021-09 allowing Class 1 electric bicycles ("e-bikes") on the City's path systems and setting a 15 mile-per-hour speed limit on Mill Creek Parkway.  

A Class 1 e-bike is an electric bicycle equipped with a motor that provides assistance only when the rider is pedaling, and that ceases to provide assistance when the bicycle reaches the speed of 20 miles per hour.
