Welcome to the MARC!
The Moab Arts & Recreation Center offers arts, educational, cultural and recreational programs and events for community children and adults. Since its formation in 1997, the MARC has become a place where community is built. The MARC hosts art and movement classes, art shows, workshops by visiting teachers, and is a community meeting facility.
The MARC is available for rent at an hourly or daily rate. Have your next event, class, wedding, or meeting at the MARC.

Art Walk Moab Photo Symposium
Dates: May 12 to June 7, 2012
Photographs by participants of the 8th annual Moab Photography Symposium will delight the public during the May 14 Art Walk. The symposium gathers nationally recognized photographers to share their work and insights with guests from all over the United States. Guests and participants have been invited to bring images for display. The public will be treated to a wide variety of photographic styles and vision. Contra Dance
Dates: May 19, 2012
Dance away those winter blues at the Contra Dance at the MARC! The lesson for beginners is at 7:30pm and the dance starts at 8. No partner or experience necessary. Come decorate your bike, tricycle, skateboard, skates, unicycle, scooter, nordic track, wheel barrow, Radio Flyer, or Big Wheel for the Transp*ART*ation parade on Saturday, May 26th at 10 am!
Tootle over to the WabiSabi Thriftique anytime between noon and 6 pm Monday – Friday May 21st-25th to join a gang of decorators, team of tinkerers, and denizen of designers in our quest to make moving art. Bring something to decorate and creative ideas. We’ll provide most supplies.
