Everyone simply knows Parks Superintendent Mark Marshall as "Woody." Woody and his crews keep the grass green in spite of soaring summer temperatures. It means they are also out mowing and weeding as well, but the City thinks these precious green spots right in town are worth the trouble!
Woody has been with the City of Moab since 1998. Although he was raised in Salt Lake City, he has put in some time working in the uranium mines in Moab as well as for the Forest Service. Like many canyon country residents, Woody likes to hike, hunt, fish and a more recent hobby is chasing his very own buffalo around its pasture!
