It is the mission of the City of Moab to provide quality services to Moab citizens and business owners. It is our mission to be accessible, accountable and responsive to the public in all our dealings. It is our mission to promote the best interests of the citizenry at large, and to deal with individuals fairly, professionally and compassionately.

The City of Moab is governed by a five-person elected City Council and Mayor, with a City Manager who supervises staff and implements policy as directed by the Council. Council members serve four year terms; the Mayor's term is also four years.
